Carrygerry is a Charming "Old World" Country House, full of History, which was built in 1793, near Shannon, in the Scenic County Clare in the West of Ireland.
Less then 10 minutes from Shannon International Airport, you can experience a Country House atmosphere of peace & tranquillity, with antique furnishings & glowing fires.
The Conservatory Restaurant which overlooks the Shannon and Fergus estuary has the perfect ambience for a Romantic Dinner. The restaurant has gained a reputation over the years and ensures the highest standards are maintained, by using only the finest and freshest local produce, with a large emphasis on organic and artisan growers and producers while always respecting the season. The Restaurant is open for dinner Tuesday to Saturday. It closed on Monday & Sunday nights.
The elegant bedrooms at Carrygerry Country House are decorated with antiquities and some have 4-poster beds. Rooms include TVs, hairdryers and some have countryside views.
On arrival guests are offered tea in the quaint Green Room. The Conservatory Restaurant has floor-to-ceiling windows and serves modern Irish cuisine using produce from local farmers. A fine wine list accompanies the menu.
Shannon Airport and Dromoland Castle are both within a 10-minute from the Carrygerry Hotel. The centre of Shannon and Shannon Golf Club are 3.2 km away and free parking is available at the Carrygerry.
