Set in its own gardens and amongst the breathtaking scenery of The Burren, Sheedy's Country House enjoys a perfect location. The original house dates from the 17th Century and is the oldest house in the village of Lisdoonvarna.
All our guestrooms have been individually designed and comfort is guaranteed... crisp white linen, fluffy white towels, luxury toiletries combine with thoughtful colour schemes and lavish soft furnishings to create an atmosphere of unhurried luxury.
Our spacious Junior Suites have very cosy sitting areas and are exceptionally spacious, with luxurious bathrooms, including double sinks and separate shower cubicle.
Food is the focus at Sheedy's Restaurant. Our reputation is based upon the modern interpretation of traditional dishes.
Our restaurant holds two dining awards from the RAC and is recommended by the Good Food Guide and Fodors Guide, and The New York Times, in an article on The Burren, said "I had an entree of black sole so exquisit, I wonder if I'll ever eat fish that fresh again".
The hotel is set in Lisdoonvarna on the N67, one hour from Shannon Airport.
